Cuco and The Marías Unite in Dreamy Spanish Ballad 'Si Me Voy’
Cuco, the beloved indie pop sensation, has recently released his latest single, "Si Me Voy," featuring María Zardoya from the band The Marías. Produced by Josh Conway of The Marías, the new song is a dreamy ballad sung entirely in Spanish, showcasing the mesmerising harmonisation between Cuco and Zardoya. The single is accompanied by a surreal music video directed by Carlos Lopez Estrada and Jeff Desom, which sees Cuco trapped in a time loop in front of his house, watching his life pass by.
Cuco expresses his excitement about the collaboration, saying "'Si Me Voy' is a great blend of energy and euphoria that makes the song feel special, collaborating with my friends The Marías was a natural choice that brought the song together in a unique way."
The release of the new single coincides with the beginning of Cuco's sold-out North American tour, where he will be making stops in San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Mexico City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York.
Cuco's latest album, Fantasy Gateway, is a reflection of his journey from a teenage musician to adulthood. The album includes some of his standout tracks, such as "Sitting In The Corner" featuring Kacey Musgraves and Adriel Favela, "Fin Del Mundo" featuring BRATTY, the psychedelic ballad "Time Machine," and "Caution," which came with a visually stunning music video created by Grin Machine and directed by Cole Kush.
