Johann Rashid, the creative behind Promiseland, has released an exciting track, “3D Flower

Highlighting his passion for combining innovative music with bold digital art. Having joined Julian Casablancas’ Cult Records, Rashid, bestowed with the nickname “The Future Prince of Anarchy” by Casablancas himself, is preparing to release his debut album, "Sad But Happy" (out October 20).

About the track and video, Johann says - “I was in a session with producer Shawn Everett and we came across this bridge that I was working on for something else – we all stayed up till the early sunrise putting this one down – we quite possibly lost or minds.  The video was inspired from a photo of Julian and I standing next to some motorcycles in London – the adventure starts there – enjoy the ride is all I can say.”

3D Flower” is a refreshing experience, with Rashid blending a unique soundscape with Casablancas's distinctive vocals. The experience is elevated by a computer-animated video, drawing inspiration from gaming sensations "Grand Theft Auto" and "Fortnite," all crafted by the versatile Rashid.

It's noteworthy that Rashid has unveiled a cover of "Shallow" recently, which personally resonates with me as a favourite, bringing a refreshing and innovative twist to the song.

Serving as a sneak peek into "Sad But Happy", “3D Flower” is the second offering from the album.

Sad But Happy is out this October 20 on Cult Records, vinyl preorders can be found HERE!
