The Smashing Pumpkins Unleash 'The World Is a Vampire' NA Tour with Epic Lineup - New Song ‘Spellbinding’

The Smashing Pumpkins - The World is a Vampire NA Tour

The Smashing Pumpkins, have announced their highly anticipated summer tour, “The World Is a Vampire,” which will span across 26 cities in the United States and Canada. The tour is set to feature some of the best alternative rock bands of our time, including Interpol, Stone Temple Pilots, and Rival Sons.

The tour will kick off after the release of the final act of the band's three-part album, ATUM, which is set to drop on May 5th. The tour will bring together fans of all ages and backgrounds, creating a sense of community and belonging.

In a press release, frontman Billy Corgan spoke about the tour's meaning, saying,

“I grew up in a world where I needed to know bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees and the Cure existed; it meant there was a place for people like me to hang out and belong. That’s what The World Is A Vampire is about. Bringing back that sense of community. If you don’t fit in, you belong here. It’s about having a shared experience and respecting others, but ultimately having fun.”

The tour's lineup is guaranteed to impress fans of all ages, with the inclusion of the iconic Stone Temple Pilots, who have been producing hit songs since the early 90s, and Interpol, who have been dominating the indie rock scene since their inception in 1997. Rival Sons, who have been praised for their blues-infused rock sound, will also be joining the tour.

To coincide with the tour's announcement, the band released their new song, "Spellbinding," following the release of the first two acts of ATUM earlier this year, featuring songs such as “Beyond the Vale” and “Beguiled.” Fans can expect to hear new and classic hits throughout the tour.

Presale tickets for the tour are set to go on sale on Tuesday at 12 p.m. local time, while general on-sale tickets will be available on Friday at 10 a.m. local time. The tour is set to begin on July 9th in Denver and end on September 1st in Chicago.

Overall, The Smashing Pumpkins' “The World Is a Vampire” tour is set to be an unforgettable experience for fans of alternative rock music. With an impressive lineup and a message of inclusivity and community, this tour is not to be missed.
