Indie-pop singer-songwriter Clairo has once again captured the attention of her fans with the release of a new demo track called ‘For Now’. The song is now available to download on Bandcamp for just $1, with all proceeds going to support two non-profit organizations For The Gworls and Everytown. For The Gworls is dedicated to providing assistance to Black trans folks with rent and affirmative surgeries, while Everytown is a movement that seeks to end gun violence and promote safer communities.
‘For Now’ is a beautifully crafted, piano-driven track that showcases Clairo's raw and emotional vocals. The song sees Clairo focusing on the present moment and expressing her love with poignant lyrics that speak to the heart. This new release comes after her collaboration with Phoenix on ‘After Midnight’ last month, and her widely acclaimed album ‘Sling’, which was released in 2021.
Clairo's upcoming appearance at the Re:Set concert series has also been confirmed, where she will perform alongside Boygenius, Dijon, and Bartees Strange. The 12-show event is scheduled to take place across North America in June, and fans are eagerly anticipating her live performance.
